Our History

Lane County Hospital opened its doors in 1959, led by the dedicated Dr. George Von Leonrod as our Medical Director. Our skilled medical staff, along with a compassionate team, is committed to delivering around-the-clock care for our patients.

In addition to our hospital services, we provide convenient daily appointments at our Medical Clinic, located just three blocks west of the hospital. Our range of services includes radiology, laboratory, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and skilled nursing care. We also offer mobile sonography, MRI, and Mammography. For your specialized needs, we provide monthly podiatry consultation services.
